SHIPPING

Available Destinations

Shipping is available within the United States, excluding Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, New Jersey, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, and West Virginia.

For shipments within Alabama, all wine must be shipped to an Alabama ABC store accompanied by a Direct Import Authorization Form. A list of Alabama state stores can be found here. Upon the wine’s arrival at the ABC Store, you will be contacted for pickup and will be responsible for payment of the Alabama state taxes upon pickup.

PLEASE NOTE: Carriers will return shipments not properly addressed to an Alabama ABC State Store.

 

Shipping Methods and Costs

We do not recommend shipping wine via ground when the temperature is above 80 degrees, as it can cause damage to the wine. The best way to ensure successful delivery of wine without damage is through Cold Chain by FedEx. Cold Chain hubs use temperature-controlled air-cargo container and exclusive-use vehicles for pickup and delivery. The order will be kept in a temperature-controlled environment, refrigerated while transported to a main Cold Chain hub, then overnighted to the final destination. This method controls the temperature of the wine throughout the shipping process. Please note that it may take up to two weeks to receive your delivery.

We do offer expedited methods such as 2 day air and overnight as alternative options. We cannot be responsible for wine shipped via ground that is damaged due to high temperatures.

Shipping charges are calculated when you check out. Shipping total includes product-handling costs. Shipping carrier is determined by the warehouse based upon shipping destination.

Delivery Estimates

Standard delivery shipments will arrive within 7 to 10 business days (excluding holidays). Orders placed by 3:00 PM Pacific Time will ship the next business day, pending compliance and credit card verification. Three Moons Winery does not ship on major holidays. In cases of extreme weather conditions, Three Moons Winery may delay the release of shipments to allow successful delivery.

 

AGE VERIFICATION & Delivery Requirements

By placing an order with us you are stating that you are 21 years of age or older, and that the recipient of the order is also 21 years of age or older. Federal law requires a signature from an individual over the age of 21 for all wine shipments. Orders containing alcohol cannot be left on a doorstep or sent to a P.O. Box. If the recipient of the wine will not be at home during regular business hours, we highly recommend sending the order to a commercial or business address where the package can be received and signed for. If no one is available for delivery, two additional attempts will generally be made.

If the package is not signed for and received and is subsequently returned to us, there will be an additional shipping charge to resend the package. We cannot guarantee the condition of any wine if delivery is not made on the first delivery attempt. Orders that are not delivered on the initial attempt may be held in a facility that is not temperature controlled.

 

Returns

Due to the nature of our products, we are unable to accept any returns at this time.

 

CANCELLATIONS

CANCELLED ORDERS

Orders must be cancelled within 4 hours of order confirmation in order to receive a refund. If you cancel your order after it has been sent to our fulfillment center, a 25% restocking fee will be applied before a refund is issued. Please send an email to info@threemoonswine.com if you need to cancel your order. Once the wine has been received at our warehouse, we will refund your credit card account for the cost of the wine less shipping, handling, and the 25% restocking fee.

DAMAGED OR FLAWED WINES

Your satisfaction is our top priority. We will replace or refund your cost for any bottle of wine that is damaged or flawed that was purchased through our website. We are unable to refund orders that were damaged due to adverse weather conditions during shipment, or wine that is ordered in error. Weather damage may include leakage, freezing, and/or corks pushing. Please be sure to check shipping destination weather conditions before placing your order.
